Background
A Local Plan serves as a blueprint for the future development and land use within a specific local authority area. A Vision and Plan Objectives are essential components of a Local Plan.
The Vision provides a long-term aspirational statement that outlines the desired future for the local area. It sets out the overarching goals and ideals that the community wants to achieve.
The Plan Objectives, on the other hand, break down the Vision into specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals. Together, they guide the development process, ensuring that proposed projects align with the community's vision and objectives.
