Consultation has concluded

Tourism is an important part of our local economy, as visitors are spending their time and money in Oldham, supporting local jobs and small businesses. As a consequence, the increased development of Oldham as a vibrant and attractive place for people to work, live and visit adds to the richness of the lives of people living here.

The Culture, Leisure and Tourism forum has been launched to help design a new action plan for the tourism sector, which will aim to identify new opportunities and to support communities across Oldham. All your responses will be used to develop a strategy which will allow tourism in Oldham to flourish and grow, supporting local jobs, workers and industries.

    We live in an incredibly vibrant and diverse borough and we want to showcase our amazing communities to the wider region.

    We want to understand from the people who live and work here, what you love and value about Oldham and what could we do together to improve Oldham as a place to live, work and visit.
